A little crackly throughout but nothing to detract you from listening. Some may find it annoying. I found it added to the mystery (a little). A laminated offering, very colourful and with a combination of psychedelia and minstrel type-script on the cover. The spine has no creases and clearly legible.

The sleeve suggests that this ‘MUST BE PLAYED IN THE DARK’. I would agree. I would add other key criteria to the conditions you find yourself in, to be able to fully appreciate this musical offering.

It is without doubt an LP that would not be made today. Or perhaps any other year bar 1967. For a person of limited intelligence and vocabulary my best [only?] advice is to listen to it and make up your own mind. You need to find a Mark Kermode of the music world to be able to do justice in terms of describing this offering.

It’s unsurprising to find out that Mort Garson (Cancer) had a background in sci-fi space landscapes as he offered up this LP featuring ‘sonic analog based compositions’. His first of three LP’s produced over the next few years, if you are going to buy one, it may be fun trying to track down the others. Good luck….
