BRIEF SUMMARY
Originally part of the Kingston Trio, this was John’s 3rd solo album. He is such an underrated artist and this album is a great advert for his talent. ‘Just an old love song’ gets the whole album going with great melody and poetry and applauds uncontrollable teenagers. ‘Wolves in the kitchen’ is a great rockin’ song. ‘Daydream believer’ is the original, popularised by The Monkees, and is such a better version. It also probably provided John with a great revenue stream over the years. ‘Wild horse road’ and ‘All the brave horse’ provide a really special sound, with its most moving and rewarding tracks ending a special album. It is a masterpiece from an American original. The cover is in great shape, with a small corner cut off and a little creasing to the other corners. The insert, with all the lyrics (well worth reading) is in excellent condition as are the labels. The vinyl has a couple of hairlines, but plays beautifully. Great value.
