These are sea shanties at their very best on the great Fellside label. Dave Weatherall transports you to ships of old and  the smell of salt and the wickedly harsh lives the sailors, slaves, whalers and sealers suffered. But through these songs their world can still be relived. Great harmonies provided by Alan Taylor and Martin hall, as well as great musicianship. A great forgotten album.
