The cover is in excellent condition and retains the clarity of colour as if it had been bought yesterday. The spine is perfectly legible. The labels are pristine, as is the vinyl itself. I did get some minor background crackles in parts.

Nic Jones career began in the mid to late 60s in a band called Hilliard. When Hilliard split up in 1969, Nic went solo. This was his second solo album and was another triumph. He has a superb lyrical sounding vocal range for folk singing and a distinct and classy guitar style. He was also a very gifted fiddle player. This collection includes some classics such as The Bonny bunch of roses, Lord Bateman and Dance to your daddy. Nic tried to only select traditional folk songs that have a relevance to living today. That is not easy, but this selection is tremendously varied and of the highest quality
