The cover is in lovely condition with a very clear and legible spine, the only defect is a neat signature on the top left of the front cover. The labels are excellent and the vinyl has a beautiful sheen and looks as if it has hardly been played. Great sound.

This was Bob and Carole Pegg’s first of only 2 albums released together. This was released while they were still part of the famous Mr Fox band, although both Nick Strutt, Andrew Massey, Alan Eden and Barry Lyons (all members of Mr Fox) also appear on this album. I suspect this was recorded before Mr Fox officially formed, but was released after the first Mr Fox album was. 6 of the 8 tracks were written by the Peggs drawing on the atmosphere and folklore of their native Yorkshire. Carole Pegg’s vocals are eerie and atmospheric, with Bob Pegg’s more traditional folk sound. The title track is the standout song, but this a great, more acoustic sounding album than their Mr Fox releases. Highly recommended.
