The vinyl has some clicks between track 1 and 2 on Side 1, but these do not affect the music. The vinyl has a lovely sheen, with rich and deep sound and hence is graded at VG+. The cover has minor sticker damage and an initial on the back cover with perfectly legible spine and the labels are perfect.

This is Michael Redway’s only solo album and produced 3 singles, only one of which made a significant impression on the charts – the title track ‘Good morning’, which is an excellent song that showcases Michael’s vocals. Michael had been a backing vocalist before producing this self-penned album and stepping forward into the limelight. He was also the vocalist on the original Bond theme for Casino Royale! This is a delightful album, especially if you are fan of romantic ballads. ‘Geordie Sunday’ reveals Michael’s northern roots, followed by the equally gentle and meaningful ‘Siobhan’. ‘Gee gee track’ has a more happy-go-lucky feel. ‘Joe’ one of his other singles has a great swing feel to it, with great backing vocals. ‘Who me’ has a Rat Pack sound and is a classic ballad. The more upbeat ‘Sometime, somewhere, somehow’ is a great emotional song and the stand out track on Side 2. ‘I love you’ allows Michael to give full reign to his magnificent voice. Great album.
