The cover is excellent except for a signature on the inside of the gatefold, hence graded as VG+. The same goes for the labels, which have a signature on the Side A label. The vinyl, however, is in superb condition and allows you to hear the infinite complexities involved in this superb piece of music. It also comes with the original Vertigo swirl inner sleeve. There are a couple of minor clicks on Side 2 Track 2 and one click on Side 2 Track 3.

This album is a superb fusion of rock and jazz that is a real tour de force. The musicians are driven to play louder and more complex music to try and counter Farlowe’s terrific vocal performance. Although in essence a concept album based on man’s fascination and allure for war, each track is in its own right a superb piece of work. Put it all together and you have an absolutely superb album.
